Seeing the face of the deceased for a final glimpse after the funeral prayer -

The reality is that seeing the face is not a Shari'ah injunction that regular arrangements should be made for it; however, if someone wishes to see the face, it is permitted to show it before the funeral prayer. It should not be shown after the prayer, because it causes an inevitable delay in the burial, and where this viewing takes the form of a regular custom, it must be stopped. Spend time with people, not with devices

Spend time with people, not with devices

Today I spent an hour at the bank with my father, because he had to transfer some money. I couldn't stop myself and asked. "Baba, why don't we activate your internet banking?" "Why would I do that?" he asked. "Well, then you won't even have to spend an hour here for things like transfers. You can also do your shopping online, everything will become so easy!" I was excited while telling him about starting out in the world of net banking. Baba asked, "If I do that, I won't have to step out of the house?" "Yes, yes!" I said. I told him how groceries can also now be delivered to the doorstep! But his reply shut my mouth. He said: "Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted for a while with the staff who know me quite well by now. You know that I am lonely, this is the companionship that I need. I like getting dressed up and coming to the bank, I have plenty of time. He said, two years ago I fell ill, the shop owner from whom I buy fruit came to visit me and sat by my bedside and started crying. When your mother fell during her morning walk a few days ago, our local grocer saw her and immediately contacted home because he knows where I live. If everything becomes online, will I get that 'human' touch? Why should I be forced to interact only with my phone? This builds bonds of relationships. Do online apps also provide all this? Technology is not life."
