The Rumblings of War After two weeks of being in a state of dilemma, today the scales seem to be tipping towards war. Since morning, international airlines have been taking alternative routes, and precautionary avoidance of Pakistani airspace is being practiced. This is the most sensitive indicator so far; simply put, a message has been sent to the international community. A BJP voter told me that an attack is written on the wall (inevitable). If military action does not take place, Modi will not get votes; whereas he has to remain in power for another ten years. If he doesn't attack, Hindus will not vote for him. He further added that the war will last for seven days, Pakistani Kashmir will be merged with us, Balochistan will become independent, and the new Pakistan will be limited only to Punjab, Sindh, and the border areas (KPK), pushing the neighboring country half a century backward. Obviously, most of these claims are exaggerated, an impact of the grooming by 'Godi Media'; but the point about votes is important. It really is a do-or-die situation for 'Sahab'. Those who consider war far-fetched argue that in case of failure to achieve victory, Sahab's credibility will turn to dust; but this is a delusion. Sahab's historic victory in the war is certain because the war will be fought 10% on the battlefield and 90% in the media. The media is entirely theirs; they will declare victory in the very first hour of the initiative. The media that has made Indians believe for a week that Asim Munir has fled along with his family will face no issue in making them accept the end of the neighboring country. Anyone who has reservations about the media narrative will face charges of treason.
