An old man was selling watermelons. He had written on the board:
1 watermelon for 30 rupees
3 watermelons for 100 rupees
Meanwhile, a young man arrived who looked educated. He first bought one watermelon for 30 rupees, then bought a second watermelon for 30 rupees, and in this way, buying them separately, he bought the third one too for 30 rupees.
As he was leaving, he turned to the old man and said:
"Perhaps you didn't realize it, but look, I bought the watermelons separately and saved 10 rupees. Maybe running a business is not your cup of tea. You should look for some other work for yourself."
The old man smiled and said:
"Many young men like you come every day. They only need one watermelon, but instead of one, they buy three, and leave giving me this exact same advice!" 😂😂
