A child was standing with an apple in each of his hands.

The father said:

"Son, can you give me one apple?"

As soon as the son heard this, he bit into one apple. Before the father could say anything, he bit into the second apple as well.

Seeing this act of his son, the father's heart sank, and the smile vanished from his face.
