New Delhi: During the wedding season, wedding invitations are being sent on WhatsApp, but cyber fraudsters are using these invitations to deceive people. They are emptying people's bank accounts by sending APK files.

Cyber experts say that when people open these files, it grants control over their mobiles, allowing hackers to gain access to sensitive financial information. Recently, such incidents have occurred in Bikaner and Ajmer, where large amounts of money were stolen from people's accounts.

To avoid cyber fraud, if you notice an unknown APK file being installed, delete it immediately. In case of any suspicious activity, turn off your phone's internet connection and visit the bank to freeze your account.
