Why look at something that causes punishment:

Hazrat Ghazwan (Rahmatullah Alaih) was participating in a war when a girl came in front of him. He looked at her, then raised his hand and slapped his own eye, so hard that the girl also ran away (out of fear), and he addressed his eye, saying:

(Beware) You look at that thing which will put you into trouble (in the Hereafter).
