A person asked Amr bin Qais: "If after leaving the mosque, a person sees that a pebble from the mosque is stuck to his shoe, clothes, or forehead, what should be done?"

Amr bin Qais replied: "Throw it away."

The person said: "People believe that it screams until it is returned to the mosque!"

Amr bin Qais responded: "Let it scream until its throat bursts!"

The man asked: "Does it even have a throat?"

Amr bin Qais said: "Then from where does it scream?!"
