He stated: We should not be content with our deficient state, but should strive to attain perfection in religion (Kamal-e-Deen). The method for this is to perfect our actions, ensure there is no negligence in fulfilling obligatory (Fara'id) and necessary (Wajibat) duties, and avoid committing prohibited acts (Muharramat). Furthermore, the remedy for the resistance of the self (Nafs) that hinders the perfection of actions is to adopt the company of the perfected ones (Kamilin). One should go to them, and if going is not possible, a correspondence through letters should be maintained with them, in which useless stories should not be written; rather, considering oneself a patient and them a physician, one should keep them informed of their spiritual conditions. Then, after that, whatever they advise, it should be acted upon and their instructions should be followed. This is the way to reach Allah, and no one can show a way easier than this.
