Once, a beggar happened to see Mullah Naseeruddin's house. Now, he would come every day and take away food items along with some money. Mullah Naseeruddin was fed up with him and was thinking of a trick to get rid of him. One day, Mullah Naseeruddin had just sat down to eat his food when the same beggar appeared. Mullah Naseeruddin snapped and asked: "Who on earth are you? Who appears here every single day?" The beggar replied with simplicity: "God's guest!" Mullah Naseeruddin immediately went outside, held the beggar's hand, and took him to the city's Grand Mosque (Jama Masjid). After bringing him inside the mosque, he said: "Until now, you were in a grave misunderstanding. That house where you used to reach every day is my house, but when you told me that you are God's guest, I felt it would be disrespectful to keep God's guest unaware of God's house." After that, while returning, he said: "Beware! Don't you dare head towards my house again. O God's guest! Recognize God's house properly and stop wandering here and there."
