*The Motorcycle* The motorcycle used to run 65 to 70 kilometers on a single liter of petrol. Suddenly, its mileage dropped and came down to 45 or 46. Despite showing it to two or three mechanics, the issue could not be resolved. Then, one mechanic, admitting his helplessness, referred it to a senior-most expert. Consequently, the bike was taken there. He listened to the whole story and called out to his assistant, "Chhotu." He asked "Chhotu" to bring a small plug spanner. Opening a plug from the carburetor, he told "Chhotu" to go and buff it clean. He brought it back buffed within a minute. The mechanic fitted the plug back into the same place and said, "Go. Insha'Allah (God willing), the problem will be solved." He didn't even take any money. When checked after a few days, the bike's mileage was back to 70 kilometers. I went back to express my gratitude and asked, "What was the fault?" The mechanic replied: "Carbon had accumulated on the plug." "Did just carbon accumulation make such a huge difference?" "Yes... Carbon accumulates on hearts as well. Then, the heart does not incline towards any good deed. To remove such carbon, Islam has provided the remedy: Durood Shareef, Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), Namaz (prayers), and recitation of the Quran with translation." - Narrated / Quoted
