A strange incident took place in Jordan recently. Extremely strange!!! Abu Anas was a righteous merchant. His younger brother studied at the university, and all his expenses were covered by Abu Anas. After some time, Abu Anas passed away in his youth. The survivors left behind were a young widow and a son named Anas. A few days later, Abu Anas's younger brother also moved into his house and reassured them that along with managing his deceased brother's business, he would also provide for the orphan and the widow. For some time, things went well. Later, malice entered his intentions. He secretly transferred all the property onto his own name, sold everything overnight, and fled to America. Behind him, the orphan and his mother were left on the street. This wretched person went to America, set up a car business, and also married a white girl. His business flourished, and he became a billionaire. After 15 years, it occurred to him that he should now return to his homeland. With this thought, he came to Jordan and planned to do business here as well. He bought a large piece of land in the "Umm Uthaina" area and constructed a magnificent building on it. Then, he started a car business here too, and within a short period, his fame echoed throughout Jordan. On the other hand, Anas and his mother continued to spend their days and nights in extreme misery. With the cooperation of a charitable institution, Anas acquired an education, and now he was married and working a job. Despite the poverty, he took great care of his mother. But the wretched uncle never thought of him. However, Anas and his mother knew everything—that the consumer of unlawful wealth had returned. One day, the mother said to her son, "Have courage, go to your uncle, and ask him for a portion of your father's wealth." At his mother's behest, Anas reached his uncle's showroom. But showing a stone heart, the uncle drove him away and said, "If you ever come this way again, I will have you arrested." He returned to his mother with heavy steps and narrated the entire ordeal. What could a widow do except utter a curse? This wretched businessman had now decided to live in Jordan. He had built a paradise-like palace and now he called his wife and children to join him in Jordan. There, those people departed from America, and here, this wretched man set off for the airport in his luxury car of a new model to pick them up. Seeing this entire scene, the Angel of Death was smiling. As soon as their car reached the main road, a speeding trailer crushed it, and Anas's corrupt uncle, along with his American wife and two children, was blown to pieces. Behind him, there was no one left except Anas. He was the sole heir. Now, his palace, showroom, and business fell into Anas's lap without any effort. What a strange matter of the Gracious Lord! He increased the orphan's wealth many times over and returned it to him. He definitely hears the prayer of the oppressed, even if it takes 15 years to manifest. Secondly, He definitely grants respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes, He leaves them as an object of lesson. Thirdly, the end of unlawful earnings (Haram) is never good. That is why my Holy Prophet ﷺ said that bodies nourished with unlawful wealth are more deserving of Hellfire.
