وَ مَا هٰذِهِ الْحَیٰوةُ الدُّنْیَاۤ اِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَّ لَعِبٌ وَ اِنَّ الدَّارَ الْاٰخِرَةَ لَهِیَ الْحَیَوَانُ لَوْ كَانُوْا یَعْلَمُوْنَ(۶۴)(سورۃ العنکبوت)
Translation : And this worldly life is nothing but amusement and play and the reality is that the home of the Hereafter is the true life, if they only knew. (64) (Asan Tarjuma Quran)
That is, just as there is enjoyment in amusement and play for a short while, but it is not a lasting thing, and after a little while the whole show comes to an end, similarly the pleasures of this world are also short-lived, and in a short period of time everything will end. Contrary to this, the life of the Hereafter is forever, therefore its pleasures and blessings are everlasting. For this reason, the real life is the life of the Hereafter. (Asan Tarjuma Quran)
