Your Status and Allah's Will

Your Status and Allah's Will

How beautifully a pious elder has said: If you want to know what your status is in the eyes of Allah, then look at what work He keeps you busy with: If He keeps you busy in His remembrance (Zikr), then know that He wants to remember you. If He engages you in the Quran, then understand that He wants to speak with you. If He engages you in good deeds, then know that He wants to bring you close to Himself. If He entangles you in worldly affairs, then understand that He is distancing you. If He keeps you busy in the affairs of people, then know that He wants to make you insignificant. If He keeps you busy in supplication (Dua), then believe that He wants to bless you. If He engages you in beneficial knowledge, then He wants you to gain His recognition (Ma'rifat). If He puts you in Jihad in the path of Allah (Jihad fi sabilillah), then He wants to choose you for Himself. If He keeps you busy in the service of humanity and deeds of goodness, then know that He is engaging you in the works of His love. And if He keeps you busy in unnecessary works, then understand that He is removing you from His love. If He keeps you busy in distortion of religion or such deeds that are of His disobedience, then know that He is depriving you of His love. And if He lets you remain busy in causing pain and distress to His servants, then know that you are being deprived of goodness. Therefore, reflect upon your condition as to what work you are busy with, because your status is exactly where Allah has kept you engaged. Allah Allah Allah _____📝📝📝_____ Narrated / Transmitted.
