A Board and Two Sentences:

A Board and Two Sentences:

A blind man was sitting near a building, and a board was placed beside him which read, "I am blind, please help me." Next to it lay his hat containing a few coins. A man was passing by. He took out some coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. Suddenly, his eyes fell on the board. He picked it up, wrote some words on the other side, and placed it back so that people could read it. Shortly after the man left, the hat became full of coins. In the afternoon, the same man was passing by on his way back. The blind man recognized the sound of his footsteps and asked him, "Are you the same person who wrote something on my board this morning?" The man replied, "Yes, I am the one." The blind man asked, "What did you write? Within a short time, my hat filled up with coins, which usually wouldn't fill up the entire day." The man said, "I only wrote the truth, but it was in a slightly different manner than what you had written. I wrote: 'Today is a very beautiful day, but I am not able to witness its sight.'" Addressing the blind man, the man asked, "What do you say? Don't both what was written before and what I wrote later point to the same thing?" The blind man said, "Certainly, both writings show that the man is blind. But the first writing stated in simple words, 'I am blind,' while the second writing tells people, 'You all are very lucky that you are not blind.'" Moral: We should thank Allah in every situation. Our mind should be creative rather than just following conventional lines blindly. We must think positively under all circumstances. When life gives you 100 reasons to cry and regret, you should give life 1,000 reasons to smile. Accept your past without regret, face the present with confidence, and be prepared for the future without fear.
