Governor Najmuddin Ayyub kept refusing marriage until he reached an advanced age. One day his brother, Asaduddin Shirkuh, said to him: "Brother, why don't you get married?" Najmuddin replied: "I do not consider anyone worthy of me..." Asaduddin said: "Should I seek a marriage proposal for you?" Najmuddin said: "Whose?" Asaduddin: "The daughter of Malik Shah, daughter of Sultan Muhammad bin Malik Shah Saljuqi, or the daughter of the Wazir-ul-Mulk." Najmuddin: "She is not worthy of me." Asaduddin in surprise: "Then who will be worthy of you?" Najmuddin replied: "I want a pious wife who will hold my hand and take me to Paradise, and from her, such a son should be born to me whom she raises in the best way, who becomes a great knight and wins back the first Qibla of Muslims...!" Asaduddin did not like Najmuddin's words and said: "Where will you find such a woman?" Najmuddin said: "If there is sincerity in the intention, Allah (SWT) will grant it...!" One day, Najmuddin was sitting with a Sheikh of knowledge from Tikrit in a mosque. A girl came and called out to the Sheikh from behind the veil. The Sheikh apologized to Najmuddin so he could speak with the girl... Najmuddin was also listening to what the Sheikh was saying to the girl... The Sheikh said to the girl: "Why did you reject the proposal of that boy whom I sent?" Girl: "O our mentoring Sheikh! That boy was indeed handsome and of high status, but he was not worthy of me..." Sheikh: "What do you want?" Girl: "I want a boy who will hold my hand and take me to Paradise, and through him, Allah (SWT) grants me a son who is a great knight and wins back the first Qibla of Muslims..." Najmuddin was astonished because what he thought, this girl thought exactly the same...! Najmuddin, who had rejected the proposals of the daughters of rulers and ministers, said to the Sheikh: "Get me married to this girl..." Sheikh: "She is a girl from the poorest household in the neighborhood..." Najmuddin: "This is exactly what I want." Najmuddin married this poor, pious girl, and from her, that great knight was born whom the world knows by the name of "Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi"..... who liberated the first Qibla of Muslims, Bait-ul-Muqaddas... ⭕ O imagination!
