Allah's Plan is Best: A Lesson-Learning Incident

Allah's Plan is Best: A Lesson-Learning Incident

A cargo-laden merchant ship was sailing when it began to capsize due to strong winds. The ship was on the verge of sinking, so the merchants on board said, "Let's throw some goods into the sea to lighten the load." After consulting, the merchants decided that whoever had the most goods would have theirs thrown away. Most of the ship's load belonged to a single merchant. He objected, saying, "Why only my goods? Let's throw a little bit from everyone's wealth." They forcefully threw this new merchant into the sea along with his goods. By nature's grandeur, the waves of the sea began to play with him. He became certain of his destruction, but when he regained consciousness, what does he see? The waves had thrown him onto a shore. It was an uninhabited island. Upon his life being saved, he thanked his Lord. He restored his breath, gathered the wood lying there, and built a hut to cover his head. The next day, he also saw some rabbits. He kept surviving by hunting them. One day it so happened that while he was cooking food, his hut caught fire. He tried very hard, but could not control the fire. He began to cry out loudly, "You threw me into the sea. All my goods were drowned. Now this hut was my entire universe, and You burnt that to ashes too. What do I do now?" Making this complaint, he went to sleep on an empty stomach. When he woke up in the morning, it was a strange sight. He saw a boat anchored at the shore and sailors had come to pick him up. He asked the sailors, "How did you find out about me?" The answer they gave left the merchant astonished. The sailors said: "We knew this island was uninhabited, but when we saw smoke rising from afar, we thought perhaps someone was stranded here who should be rescued. That's why we came to you." Then the merchant told his entire story, so the sailors surprised him further by saying that the ship from which you were thrown into the sea sank further ahead. Hearing this, the merchant fell into prostration, started thanking his Lord, and said, "Pure is that Being Who made the merchants throw me into the sea to save me. He is the All-Knowing about His servants." Warning: No matter how harsh the circumstances become, do not despair of Allah's mercy. Put your trust in your Lord in every situation, because He knows best. ___________📝📝___________ Narrated. Selection: Islamic Tube Pro App ___________📝📝___________
