Assalamu Alaikum Islamic History Episode No. 3 Angels are the Creation of Allah Angels are the creation of Allah Almighty, created from light (Noor). They are hidden from our sight. They never disobey Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty has assigned them various duties, and they are constantly engaged in those tasks. Angels are countless; their exact number is known only to Allah Almighty. Among them, four angels are well-known and closest (to Allah): (1) Hazrat Jibraeel (Gabriel) Alaihissalam, who used to bring Allah's books and commandments to the Prophets. (2) Hazrat Israfeel Alaihissalam, who will blow the trumpet on the Day of Judgment by the command of Allah Almighty. (3) Hazrat Mikaeel (Michael) Alaihissalam, who is appointed to manage the rain and provide sustenance (Rozi) to the creation. (4) Hazrat Azraeel Alaihissalam, who is appointed to take the souls (lives) of the creation. Similarly, besides these, there are many other angels who remain constantly engaged in praising Allah Almighty and glorifying His holiness.
