👈 Repentance of a Jewish Youth __!!

A Jewish youth used to frequently visit the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family). The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) never objected to his comings and goings, but would sometimes send him for some work, or send letters to the Jewish community through him.

However, once he did not come for a few days. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) inquired about him, to which someone said: "I saw him in a condition of severe illness, perhaps it is his last day." Hearing this, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), along with a few companions, went to visit him. He was not speaking to anyone, but when the Prophet reached there, he began responding to him. Accordingly, the Messenger of Allah called out to the youth. The youth opened his eyes and said: "Labaik ya Abul Qasim!" (At your service, O father of Qasim!). The Prophet said: "Say: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah."

As soon as the youth's gaze fell upon his father's (frowning/skewed) look, he could not say anything. The Holy Prophet invited him to the Shahadatain (the two testimonies of faith) a second time; this time too, seeing his father's frowning look, he remained silent. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) invited him for the third time to repent from Judaism and accept the Shahadatain. The youth once again looked at his father's face. At that moment, the Holy Prophet said: "If it is your will, accept the Shahadatain, otherwise remain silent." At that instance, without paying attention to his father, the youth recited the Shahadatain of his own free will and departed from this world! The Holy Prophet said to the youth's father: "Hand over the body of this youth to us," and then said to his companions: "Perform his ritual bath (Ghusl), shroud him (Kafan), and bring him to me so that I may pray over him." After that, they left the Jew's house, and the Prophet kept saying: "O Allah, thank You that today, through me, You have saved a youth from the fire of Hell...!!!"

Baba Ji's Four Advices - An Interesting Incident

Baba Ji's Four Advices - An Interesting Incident

During the days when I used to study in a madrasa, an old wise man (Baba Ji) spent most of his time in the mosque. He would remain engaged in one worship or another all the time. It was the same season, severe winter. I saw that he was performing ablution (wudu) with ice-cold water and was smiling. At first, I remained captivated by the spell of his strange smile. When his gaze fell upon me, I was startled. I went close to him and asked, "Baba Ji, you are performing ablution with such cold water, and instead of shivering/making cold sounds (si-si), you are smiling?" In his specific manner, he wiped his eyebrows and said, "Dear son, you are still young, you won't understand." I said, "I know you were enjoying it." He looked at me and said, "Son, I am not worthy of claiming enjoyment in worship, however, I feel a spiritual ecstasy/serenity from this cold water. Thinking that my Allah is watching me, and He sees that His wretched, worn-out old servant is putting his hands in cold water just to please Him, my belief tells me that my Lord must be getting pleased. It is just the joy of this state that is upon me..." Saying this, he began to sob and cry, and my tearing eyes were making a failed attempt to accompany him. When he became quiet, I asked, "Baba Ji, how can this joy and sweetness of worship be attained?" He said, "It is very easy, you just have to do four things. You will find such joy in every good deed that your heart will blossom with happiness. 1. Become detached from the world. Remove it from your heart. Keep it only to the level of necessity, not to the level of desire and pleasure. 2. Keep your sustenance (provision) absolutely and openly halal, to the extent that you avoid even doubtful and ambiguous things. 3. Stay silent. Do not speak more than necessary, and do not indulge in useless gossip. 4. Protect your eyes. The day you start protecting your eyes, you will begin to receive the ecstasy of worship." Dear friends! Today, after 22 years, when I remembered Baba Ji's words, I went to his grave, recited Fatiha, and sat there for a long time. What valuable sayings he had uttered! If we do these four things, we will truly feel the sweetness and ecstasy of worship. ____________📝📝____________ Narrated / Transmitted. Selection: Islamic Tube Pro App
