Every sin has a price

Nothing in this world comes for free, so how can a sin be without a price?

Every sin surely takes something away from a person; sometimes the peace of heart, sometimes the pleasure of worship, sometimes honor, sometimes blessings, and sometimes proximity to Allah.

While committing a sin, a person fulfills a desire of moments, but its price often becomes years of regret.

The wise person is the one who recognizes the hidden price of a sin instead of its temporary pleasure.

O Allah! Protect us from every sin that causes Your displeasure, keep our hearts alive with Your obedience, forgive our lapses, and grant us a life that becomes a means to Your pleasure and Your proximity. Ameen.

The Rule of 99

The Rule of 99

A king once said to his minister, "I don't understand one thing: I have every luxury and comfort of the world, yet my heart is not happy. On the other hand, my servant has nothing—neither wealth, nor palaces, nor comforts—yet he remains happy and cheerful all the time." The minister replied, "Apply the 'Rule of 99' to him." "What does the Rule of 99 mean?" asked the king. The minister said, "Tonight, put 99 dinars in a bag and hang it on his door, but write on it: 'These 100 dinars are a gift to you from me.' Knock on the door and return. Then watch what happens throughout the next day." The king did exactly that. The servant came out, picked up the bag with great joy, and quickly began counting. He found that one dinar was missing. He counted again, but it was still 99. Now, he started searching all around the door, thinking it might have fallen somewhere, but found nothing. After a while, his wife and children also joined him and started searching. Thus, they spent the entire night looking for that one missing dinar. In the morning, he came to work with a pale and worried face. Due to the lack of sleep, he felt exhausted and heavy, and his usual joy and cheerfulness were completely gone. Seeing this, the king understood the secret of the "Rule of 99." It means that we forget the 99 blessings bestowed upon us by Almighty Allah and get consumed in chasing the one missing blessing. That missing thing becomes the focal point of our thoughts and the reason for all our struggles and hard work. Consequently, despite having countless blessings, we remain anxious and fail to thank Allah Almighty in every situation, which is the master key to staying happy. ___________📝📝📝___________ Narrated.
