Women should not have to go out to earn.

The responsibility of earning is not upon the woman.

This is the reality and this is the temperament of Islam that the man earns and women stay at home.

However, that a man earns and leaves his wife yearning for every single penny—this is not the temperament of Islam.

That there is no property, business, or financial stability in the woman's name, and that she has no bank balance of her own—this too is not the temperament of Islam.

Those husbands who keep their wives' ATM cards with themselves but maintain their own secret accounts, whose wives and children have no knowledge of their full salary, and who are themselves financially stable but keep their wives dependent.

Such wives whose husbands are owners of millions, yet the wife is in need of every single penny—is this permissible??

When the husband is in a position to pay Zakat, but the wife herself falls among those eligible to receive Zakat—what kind of Islam is this??

When the husband is progressing by leaps and bounds day and night, how much right does the wife have over his money??

When the husband owns two factories, but can evict the wife from his life at any time—when she neither has the age to earn, nor a single penny in hand, nor any property, nor a roof over her head. In the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where on March 8 vulgarity and immodesty are called women's rights, there should be a state right to women's financial stability and giving women their share in property........... When husband and wife build a home together and raise children, there should be a legal restriction on the husband that he cannot evict his wife from the house.

Who will talk about all these laws and when??

Is it not the duty of the scholars to speak about these rights of women which are purely Islamic?

The Importance of Halal Earnings and the Humility of Maulana Qasim Nanotvi

The Importance of Halal Earnings and the Humility of Maulana Qasim Nanotvi

Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahib Nanotvi (R.A) had a devotee who was a Thanedar (police station chief) in Muzaffarnagar. One day, he invited Hazrat Maulana Nanotvi to a feast. Maulana observed that the Thanedar's earnings were doubtful and suspicious, which is why he declined the invitation. When the Thanedar asked for the reason for not accepting the invitation, Hazrat said, "I am constrained (excused)." He said, "If you are ill, I will arrange for your medical treatment." Hazrat replied, "No, there is some other excuse." He said, "If traveling is difficult, I will arrange a ride." Hazrat said, "This is not the compulsion, rather it is another excuse." He requested again, "Shall I send the food to your place?" You declined. He submitted, "I will personally come and present the food." Hazrat flatly refused. The Thanedar suddenly flew into a rage and said, "You are neither a spiritual elder (Buzurg) nor righteous, because the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Accept invitations', and you are not accepting it." Upon this, Maulana Nanotvi replied, "I am guilty of and deserve even more faults than the ones you have mentioned." At that moment, the Thanedar came to his senses. He pondered and realized that Hazrat was rejecting his invitation due to his wealth being doubtful. He resigned from his post as a Thanedar that very day. After a few days, he invited him again and submitted, "Hazrat! Now I am inviting you with the lawful (Halal) income from my own property." Maulana Muhammad Qasim Sahib accepted the invitation and said to him, "Do a job, but work with honesty, because being a Thanedar with honesty is greater than all virtues, as a Thanedar holds the position of an accountability officer (Muhtasib)." ___________📝📝___________ Narrated.
