However, if an event occurs that contains a lesson, a reason to be grateful, encouraging themes, or requires the prayers of friends, I certainly share it. A similar incident happened to me yesterday, Monday, November 18, 2024. At around 1:30 PM, I was doing some work at Noor Graphics. Both children left the house to study, so I thought of going upstairs to have lunch. When I came up, my three-year-old younger son was swinging in the middle of the courtyard. My respected mother was in her room located a bit further away. Since my wife was nowhere to be seen, I turned towards my personal room. Right adjacent to it, inside the bathroom, I felt the sound of someone gasping and breathing heavily. I called my wife by her name and knocked lightly on the door, but there was no response, and the sound remained the same. Feeling alarmed, I used my shoulder multiple times to break down the door. After five or six strikes, the door broke, and I found my wife unconscious in a corner. I called out to my mother repeatedly. My wife was completely unconscious, the condition of her eyes was indescribable, and her teeth were tightly clenched. I couldn't comprehend anything; it felt like doomsday had arrived upon me. With great difficulty, along with my mother, we brought her out of the bathroom. I rushed outside to find a doctor, with the name of Almighty Allah on my lips and my eyes searching for a helpful doctor. Both doctors near the house were not at their clinics. I called a doctor located a bit further away, but he was also quite far from home. I sent Nadeem Bhai (Manager, Maktaba-an-Noor) to get another doctor from the neighborhood, but he too was attending to an emergency case. Then, he was immediately sent to Razi Clinic, located near Darul Uloom Waqf, where Doctor Salman Wali, the son of my late teacher Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Nabi Kashmiri (may Allah have mercy on him), serves. About fifteen minutes had passed since breaking the door. My wife was breathing, but she lacked the power to speak. After a while, her senses began to return, and her lips started moving slowly as if she wanted to say something. When I leaned in to listen closely, she was reciting the Kalimah Tayyibah and saying, "Forgive my mistakes." My mother and I continuously reassured her. My mother brought recited water and made her drink it. Meanwhile, Doctor Salman Wali Sahab also arrived, immediately checked her BP and oxygen level, reassured us, and gave injections. He stated that due to the gas geyser being inside the bathroom, the oxygen was depleted, which caused her to faint. He said, "Rest assured, she will fully recover in a day or two, In sha Allah." This half-hour was among the hardest moments of my life. It was the immense grace of Allah, and no matter how much I thank the Merciful and Kind Lord, it is not enough. From this incident, we learn that under no circumstances should a gas geyser be installed inside the bathroom. God forbid, it can cause a major accident, and many other similar incidents have already been heard of. By the grace and blessings of Allah, my respected wife is recovering.
