*Shaykh al-Islam ♥* Shaykh al-Islam is a title given to the greatest scholarly personality in the entire Islamic world. First of all, this title was given to the 7th-century scholar of Hadith and a deeply learned authority, "Shaykh al-Islam Allama Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahmatullah Alaih)." After that, for the second time in the recent past, the Shaykh al-Hadith of Darul Uloom Deoband and the President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, "Shaykh al-Islam Hazrat Maulana Husain Ahmad Madani (Rahmatullah Alaih)," was honored with this title. While in the present era, "Shaykh al-Islam Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani Sahib" has been blessed with this title.
