Incident details Saudi Airlines in Lucknow: A major accident was averted after smoke and sparks were seen coming from the wheels of a Saudi Airlines flight from Jeddah to Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport. 250 pilgrims were safely disembarked. British fighter jet in Kerala: An emergency landing was made in Kerala due to fuel shortage. Lufthansa and Air India: A Lufthansa flight from Hyderabad was diverted to Frankfurt due to a bomb threat, while Air India flight AI-315 from Hong Kong to Delhi returned to Hong Kong due to a technical glitch. Air India made alternative arrangements for passengers. Ahmedabad plane crash On June 12, Air India Flight AI-171 crashed into the BJ Medical College building in Meghananagar shortly after takeoff, killing 278 people, including 241 passengers. Those include former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Lubina director Subhash Chandra Amin, and Cargo Motors Group founder Paramukh Nanda and his family. 114 people have been identified through DNA, and the work of removing the remains is underway.
