Andhra Pradesh Minister Reviews the Situation

Following the incident, Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed the Vietnam boat accident. He had received information that several residents from Andhra Pradesh had gone to Vietnam for vacations, raising concerns that they might be involved in the accident. Nara Lokesh immediately contacted senior officials of the Andhra Pradesh government and officials at Andhra Bhawan in New Delhi. Officials informed him that some people from Andhra Pradesh could possibly be among the victims, though it has not been fully confirmed yet.
