A lawyer used to be the first priority of people in courts. His fees were in millions... he used to get major criminals acquitted... Come! Now read about his exemplary end...
Then time changes, his age declines, and he grows old. His eyesight diminishes to such an extent that he cannot even recognize his own biological daughter standing in front of him... The children divide all the money and wealth among themselves... The sons take their wives and children and settle in Europe...
The lawyer is left all alone in the house. Since the children were raised on wealth acquired through deceiving the oppressed, or grew up on wealth given to hide the oppression of the oppressors... therefore, there is no such thing as civility or compassion left in them... No one agrees to keep the father with them. Then a unanimous decision is made to arrange a 24-hour servant and a security guard for the father... The lawyer, who once stood as a shield for the oppressors and turned the oppressed away empty-handed from the doorstep of justice, thus becomes forced to spend his life dependent on servants.
Recently, his eldest son, along with his wife and children, had come to Pakistan for his sister-in-law's wedding... Relatives shamed him and forced him to meet his father... He came to his father's house along with his wife and children to meet him... A severe stench was coming from their father's room because many times he could not get up at night to go to the toilet.. When he called out to the servants, they would turn a deaf ear, and thus urine would pass on the bed itself... Leave alone washing the bed, the servants did not even consider it appropriate to change the bedding...
Thus, the lawyer was forced to spend his life lying on the same smelly, wet bed... When his son entered the room, he placed a handkerchief over his nose and turned back without even meeting his father... Since he (the father) could not see, his son went outside, coached the security guard, and sent him inside the room... The servant went and hugged the old lawyer, and the poor old man, mistaking the servant for his own son, kept kissing him... Afterwards, the maidservant and her children kept meeting the lawyer as his daughter-in-law and grandchildren... The lawyer, considering them his own blood, kept giving them blessings. His son did not even consider it appropriate to go near his father.. In the son adopting this kind of attitude, it was undoubtedly the lawyer's own doing and no one else's.
The very first thing understood from this is how wealth and offspring become a trial and a tribulation (Fitnah)?... The second thing understood is that whatever profession you adopt, never stand with the oppressor... Certainly, the lawyer could not do this.
But it is my desire that the people reading this true incident must reflect upon these realities before it gets too late... The lawyer's time has passed, but our time and your time is still here.
