On December 20, a debate or discussion on the "Existence of Truth" (Existence of God) is scheduled between Shamail Abdullah Nadwi and the infamous atheist Javed Akhtar. I believe that Muslims should make a special intention and pray with dedication that Allah, the Lord of Honor, makes this discussion a source of reform and guidance for atheists. Brother Shamail Nadwi must have surely made this intention. May Allah Almighty cause the truth to flow from his tongue in such a way that the falsehood of untruth is completely exposed, and the truth becomes manifest with its full impact before the followers of falsehood. Giving unnecessary advice to Shamail Nadwi and making comments like "we will uproot them" or "we will slam them down" will be highly harmful. Please, Muslims of India, do not turn this healthy intellectual discussion into a battle or conflict; it will cause a great deal of harm, a great deal. May Allah Almighty cause the truth to flow upon the tongue of Shamail Nadwi as guidance along with its deep impact. Ameen Summa Ameen. ✍️: Samiullah Khan

The Wise Reply of Imam Abu Nasr Sindhi (R.A)

The Wise Reply of Imam Abu Nasr Sindhi (R.A)

Imam Abu Nasr Fatih bin Abdullah Sindhi (may Allah have mercy on him) is among those scholars of the second century AH who were of Sindhi origin and embraced Islam after the entry of Muslims into Sindh. After becoming a Muslim, he was recognized as an acknowledged scholar of Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, and Kalam. Allama Sam'ani (R.A) has narrated this incident of his with a chain of transmission (Sanad): Abdullah bin Hussain says that one day we were walking with Abu Nasr Sindhi on a ground covered with dust and mud, and many of his followers were also with him. We saw an Arab prince lying intoxicated on the ground, smeared with dust and mud. When he raised his eyes and looked at us, Abu Nasr (R.A) brought his face close and sniffed; the smell of wine was coming from his mouth. The prince said to Abu Nasr (R.A): "O slave! You see the condition I am lying in, yet you are walking along with peace of mind, and so many people are following behind you?" Abu Nasr (R.A) replied boldly: "O Prince! Do you know what the reason for this is? The fact is that I have started following your forefathers (the Companions and Successors/Tabi'een), and you have started walking in the footsteps of my forefathers (the disbelievers)."
