June 15, 2025, Uttar Pradesh A tragic accident occurred in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh when 4 to 5 houses collapsed due to a landslide during the excavation of a mound. It is feared that 12 to 15 workers are buried under the rubble. Details of the accident Illegal excavation was going on in the Amrish mound area located on the dirt road of Govind Nagar police station when suddenly the houses collapsed due to a landslide. Local administration, police, fire brigade, and NDRF-SDRF teams are engaged in rescue operations. A woman and a youth have been pulled out of the rubble and shifted to the hospital. The owners of the land The excavation was being done to level the land and sell the plot. The owners of the land are Sunil Chen, Ram Agarwal, Pradeep Sharma, Ritesh, and two others. The accident occurred due to illegal excavation, which thwarted the intentions of the owners. Chief Minister's response Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, taking notice of the accident, has ordered the district administration to immediately carry out relief work and treat the injured.
