A Strange Suicide in American History

A man named Ronald Opus decided to commit suicide and chose the easiest way, which was to jump from the building he lived in. He jumped from the tenth floor of the building and left a note for his loved ones, stating the reason for his suicide was that he had become despondent with life. But on March 23, 1994, when the autopsy report came, it revealed that Ronald's cause of death was not from the fall from the roof, but from a gunshot wound to the head. Upon investigation, it was found that the bullet hit Ronald from the same building he lived in, and that bullet was fired from the ninth floor, where an elderly couple had been living for many years. Neighbors revealed that the husband and wife argued constantly, and the strange thing was that precisely when Ronald threw himself from the roof, at that exact moment, the old husband was holding a pistol, threatening to kill his wife. In a state of extreme anger and agitation, the husband unintentionally fired the gun at his wife. But since the wife was far from the target, the bullet went out of the window at that exact moment when Ronald jumped for suicide, hitting him in the head and causing his death. (The twist in the story is yet to come) In court, the elderly husband was tried for involuntary manslaughter, but he kept insisting that he and his wife argued all the time and he always threatened her with the pistol, but the pistol was always empty and had no bullets. Further investigation revealed a strange fact: one of the relatives of the old couple had seen the couple's son loading bullets into the pistol a week prior. The reason was that the mother had refused to give financial aid to the son. So, the son thought of getting rid of his old parents. He knew his parents fought all the time and during fights, the father would point the empty pistol at the mother, so he loaded the pistol with a bullet to kill two birds with one stone. But the bullet didn't hit his mother; instead, it hit Ronald in the head while he was committing suicide. Thus, the accusation of murder shifted from the father to the son. (Surprised? Brain twisted? Okay, now keep track of the story with me) The strangest thing about the whole incident was that Ronald himself was the son of that elderly couple, and he was the one who had loaded the bullet into the pistol to get rid of his parents. But due to worsening financial conditions and his father delaying killing his mother, he decided to commit suicide. As he jumped from the upper floor, he was hit by the very bullet he had loaded into the pistol himself. In this way, he became both the killer and the victim. Note: This story is fictional and has no relation to reality. It is only meant to explain that as you sow, so shall you reap.
